Pastor Lê, Thế Ðinh was born on February 4, 1940 at
Tuy Hòa, Phú Yên. He graduated the Nha Trang Biblical and Theological Institute
in 1970. In June 1970, he was sent to be a Missionary to Vietnamese tribal
minorities in Quảng Trị. In the summer of 1972, when the north of
Quảng Trị fell under Communist control, he led the people to settle
in Dák Lák (Ban Mê Thuộc) and organized a Missionary Center at Buôn Jat,
Phước An, Dák Lák. He was ordained by the Vietnamese Evangelical
Church on April 21, 1975. After April 30, 1975, he was put under house arrest
until 1978 and then jailed for 6 years (1978-1984). After his release from
prison, he worked with other preachers in the underground churches. God brought
a great revival resulting in more than 100,000 people accepting the Lord. On
June 5, 1996, Pastor Lê, his wife and seven daughters left Việt Nam under
the H. O. program to resettle in the United States. He then assisted Pastor
Hồ Hiếu Hạ at Vietnamese Evangelical Church of Westminster,
California. Later, he was invited to serve as the senior pastor of the
Vietnamese Evangelical Church at San Bernadino, California from July 1997 to
August 2001. In September 2001, he followed God’s call in accepting the
invitation to serve as the senior pastor at the Vietnamese Evangelical Church
of Dallas Fort Worth.
Nguyễn, Sanh Ngọc
January 1994 - July 2001
God used Reverend Nguyễn, Sanh Ngọc to establish His church in 1994
during the time Mr. Nguyễn was studying at Dallas
Theological Seminary. Reverend Nguyễn, Sanh Ngọc pastored the
church from the time it was founded until July of 2001, when he heeded God’s
call to accept the invitation to the post of senior pastor at Vietnamese
Alliance Church in Orange County, California, another church within the same Vietnamese District of the Christian and
Missionary Alliance.
